Welcome to the Millgaet Media gallery. Here you can view photographs from your recent studio sitting with Malcolm Younger. Please be aware that your photographs are currently unedited. For information regarding the editing we can provide, please see below.

Malcolm Younger Photography studio sittings

Your photographs are in a private gallery that only you can access. When your photographs are ready to be viewed, a member of the Millgaet Media team will contact you with your unique password.

To view your photographs, enter your password in the field opposite. Click on the thumbnails to enlarge the images for easier viewing. Using the image controls under the photograph, you can order the image in full colour, black and white or sepia.

If you would like to purchase a photograph through our website, click 'Add to Basket' and select from the purchasing options. Prints, posters and canvases are available in a variety of sizes. You can choose to collect your order from our office or have it delivered straight to your door.

Alternatively you can order your photographs over the phone or in person at our office in Toll Clock Shopping Centre, Lerwick. In these instances payment will be taken when you collect your order. We accept cash, cheque or credit/debit card payments. If you require any of your photographs to be edited (see below), we advise that you place your order at our office or over the phone so we can discuss your requirements.

Once your order has been placed it usually takes up to one week for your photographs to be printed. Canvasses and other products will take longer. If you have chosen to collect your order, a member of the Millgaet team will contact you to let you know when it is ready.

Editing your photographs:

Your photographs are currently unedited. During the editing process we can make certain adjustments to your photographs.

If your photos require editing, please place your order over the phone by calling 01595 690090 or by visiting us in person at our office at Toll Clock Shopping Centre, Lerwick so we can discuss your requirements.

Adjustments might include:

Cropping - all images can be cropped, for example you may want to zoom in on a shot.

Colour - colour can be corrected, for example you may want to reduce redness in a face. All photos are also available in black and white and sepia. Please select your chosen colour using the option underneath the photograph.

General tidying - blemishes, scratches etc can be removed.

Changing faces - we often find in group photographs there is one person who isn't smiling or has their eyes closed. In most instances this can be easily fixed by using the face from one picture to correct another.

The possibility of editing depends on each individual image. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

Canvases

Our Epson Stylus Pro printer offers an industry leading level of accuracy and high quality colour printing. If you are interested in purchasing a canvas of any photographs from i'i shetland, studio portraits, or your own photography we would be delighted to discuss your requirements.

Only certain images are suitable for canvasses due to the wrapping process used to make them. A portion of each side of the photograph will be wrapped around the frame and therefore not visible. It is important to consider this when selecting the image for your canvas for the best result.

If there is a photograph you would like as a canvas but you are unsure if it is suitable, feel free to consult us for advice. Even if it is not suitable, we may be able to adjust it to make it so.
